Brenda - I love this story so much! It made me so happy to read about your WOF experience and I love that the prizes were actually representative of other prizes. So fun! Thank you for sharing!

Wheel of Fortune was a highlight. If we had a VHS tape, we could have had it digitized. I look so different then, I had a short natural hairstyle and I wore contacts in the 80s. You wouldn't have seen me wearing glasses. LOL. I'll find a photo to bring to lunch next week.

What a wonderful story, Brenda. You are a treasure trove of amazing experiences!

That’s not the only time you were on TV in LA. Remember??

Didn't we promote a big Reflotron screening together on A.M. Los Angeles? Cristina Ferrare was hosting the show back then. Writing this piece, I was thinking about the annual (company) Christmas parties we'd host for ourselves at Cafe Rodeo. We had a great time in Los Angeles.

I was thinking of those parties as well! We did have a great time in LA and continue to do so where we go.

You’re right—and 2 of the other guests that day were Billy Crystal and Roger Ebert.

I remember, I still tell people, “my cousin was on Wheel of Fortune”.

Thanks for remembering. When you all moved I was hoping you would find a recording. Before auntie moved to senior housing, we found a bunch of VHS tapes but none was the recording. At least we have the memories!

What were the actual dates your episodes aired?

March 15, 16 and 17th 1982. The final air date was St. Patrick’s day when I missed the puzzle and the car! We taped the week prior.
